Alberta Society of Off-Road Motorcyclists (ASORM)

Motorcycle Enthusiasts

We are excited to announce the launching of a dedicated off-road motorcycle organization in Alberta.

A number of off-road motorcycle clubs and many individuals in Alberta are pooling efforts and have formed a provincial off-road motorcycle organization. ASORM is recognized by the Alberta government as a society with not-for-profit status under the name "Alberta Society of Off-Road Motorcyclists" (ASORM).

We are actively recruiting clubs and individuals involved with off-road motorcycling in Alberta, in order to create a strong province wide off-road motorcycle association. The clubs initially involved with the launch of this association represent over 2,000 individuals interested in advancing single-track riding opportunities throughout Alberta.

A large number of off-road motorcycle enthusiasts and clubs have gotten together and organized a province wide organization.   As people who ride a motorcycle with knobby tires we all face the same problems of lack of riding areas.   It does not matter if you ride, motocross, cross country, trail ride, trials, or dual sport, we all face the same problems.   Different clubs and groups all across the province are dealing with access problems, and restrictions imposed on us. We need to work together and pool our resources to preserve the 2 wheel sport we enjoy.
